Peer Review Process
The Proceeding of the International Conference on Applied Sciences, Information and Technology (ICo-ASCNITech) is committed to publishing high-quality, impactful research. To maintain the highest academic standards and scientific integrity, all submitted full papers undergo a rigorous and transparent evaluation process.
1. Initial Screening (Editorial Triage) Upon submission, every manuscript goes through an initial screening by the Editorial Board. During this stage, the editors evaluate whether the paper fits the conference's focus and scope, adheres to the formatting guidelines, and meets the basic standards of academic writing. Crucially, all submissions are subjected to a strict plagiarism check. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% or those that fall outside the conference scope will be desk-rejected without entering the formal review process.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for formal evaluation. ICo-ASCNITech strictly employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system. In this process, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept strictly confidential and concealed from each other. This ensures an objective, unbiased, and fair assessment of the scientific merit of the work.
3. Evaluation Criteria and Timeframe Independent expert reviewers carefully evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:
-
Originality and novelty of the research.
-
Methodological soundness and robustness of the analysis.
-
Clarity, coherence, and structure of the presentation.
-
Relevance to the conference themes and sub-themes.
-
Quality and recency of the cited references.
To ensure a thorough and constructive evaluation, the entire peer-review process will take a minimum of 1 month (4 weeks) from the date of the full paper submission.
4. Decision Making Based on the comprehensive feedback and recommendations provided by the reviewers, the Handling Editor will make one of the following final decisions:
-
Accept Submission: The paper is accepted in its current form.
-
Revisions Required (Minor/Major): The paper is accepted conditionally, pending necessary revisions by the authors to address the reviewers' comments.
-
Decline Submission: The paper does not meet the necessary standards or scope for publication in the proceeding.
The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
